Hmmm. It’s been a little bit of time since Kick Off Friday. I promised that I’d continue to do updates, so that’s what I did. But the updates aren’t all visible yet. Soon, very soon, and you’ll see more. In the mean time, I can let you know what you can do to get connected. I’m sure if you’ve poked around you’ve noticed that there are two locked pages. Eheheeeh~ *smirk* I’m sure you’re curious as to what the passwords are, and what’s on those pages as well. Not to worry, I’m not that exclusive a GM. But I am that exclusive of a writer. RPC isn’t just about role playing, there’s many more opportunities as well.
Each week I’ll alternate releases of two stories, just to get things started. I’ll try and stay on schedule, but encouragement is always welcomed. I’ll be starting school soon, but I don’t want to loose the writers touch I acquired over the summer. So my goal is one to two chapters a week, and I’ll see where that takes us up to the holidays. Then we can plan one event before the year is up. So the question is: How will I know when you post new stuff? That’s a good question. I’ll direct you to take a closer look at the contact page.
RolePlay Central is coming into it’s own. There’s going to be a lot of ways that you can join in on the fun. But I want this to be a safe and enviting place for everyone. And also, I don’t want you to be over taken by the activity here. I’ll try to be as regular and consistant as I can, be it RPC updates, the writing or art posts, or with events. But I never want to leave you behind. So communication is key.
For all things official RPC, email us at RolePlayCentral.ConnectsUs@gmail.com
Let me know what part of the enterprise you’re interested in. Some of the sharing will be restricted, so access will be granted upon request.
Shoot me an email there and I’ll be happy to give more details.
There will be three different levels. RPC Friend, for those of you who just want to hang out, chat, or share in any of the events. RPC Readers will have Friend access plus access to their choice of story page. I’ll be posting links to the new chapters in the page an there will be other activities related to the story itself. If you’d like to share you’re writing here with us, let me know. Then the top level is RPC Staff, with access to more stuff, including writing releases and events and more. For those of you who were my kind a dedicated staff from the first domain, my staff invitation still holds for the new domain. You also may be seeing some new staff names. To be a staff member actually doesn’t require a lot. As GM I could do everything myself, but that would really take away all the fun. If you’d like to join as a staff, shoot me an email and we can talk about how you’d like to help. If I’ve already recruited you, shoot me an email and I’ll send you all the information to get you started. Emails are good for specific questions.
I’m going to set my biases out now. I’m a big Google fan. Even more so now that I’m getting used to Google+ and the Hangouts and so on. The best way to connect with RPC is through a Google account. If you don’t have an account and maybe are interested in starting one, you can click here. That will make it easier for planning and joining group events and more. But I’m very flexible. RPC has an IRC channel for those of you who want to chat and some of our games will be held there. More to come for that later. I also can be found on Skype often, if you want to talk to me directly, but that might be a little more involving. Aside from me, if you just want be updated on posts, I encourage you to join WordPress where you can follow this and other great blogs. And as always, drop a comment here with this post (comments button above) and I’ll be sure to respond, I come here every day during the week. If there’s any way that you would like to connect with RPC that was not listed, leave a comment on the Contact Info page and I’ll look into adding any suggestions.
Soon life and activity will come to this domain, but it won’t happen without you. I’ll see you around.
